The mission of the Sycamore Athletic Boosters is to raise money for a broad range of athletic programs at Sycamore Junior High & Sycamore High School. We help fund shortfalls in School Board approved athletics and annually assist over 100 teams where coaches identify specific needs. We strive to provide as many athletic opportunities as possible for our students by maintaining a large athletic program and by keeping our pay-to-play fees as low as possible.
Some recent donations of the Sycamore Athletic Boosters to Aviators Athletics:
- $850,000 for the “Always An Aviator” Campaign, to fund upgraded athletic facilities at Sycamore High School
- Original 5-Year Pledge at $50K per year (completed 3 payments through June 2023)
- $85K for Ticket Booth
- $15K for Swim Lane
- Extended our pledge for another 10 years at $50K per year, $500k
- Various athletic equipment upgrades such as
- New volleyball nets and poles
- New Mr. Aviator mascot costume
- New backpacks for Cheerleading team
- Windscreens for turf field
- Video equipment for football
- Parkas for water polo team
- Stopwatches for swim team, and more
- Furnishing all equipment to outfit new stadium concession stand
- State competition travel funding for JHS and HS players and coaches
- Support of Sycamore Junior High Athletics
